Seneca Cayuga ARC is pleased to offer Family Education & Training (FET) opportunities on a regular basis.
As defined by the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities (OMRDD), FET may be provided to families of consumers enrolled in the Home and Community Based Services Waiver (HCBS Waiver) who are under 18 years of age.
The purpose of FET is to support the family in understanding and coping with the developmental disability. For families enrolled in the HCBS Waiver who have FET listed as a service, the trainings are totally funded through OMRDD, up to two sessions per year. Each family is expected to attend at least one session per year in order to remain in the program.
Information regarding FET training sessions will be posted via email as well as on the agency web site. Session locations will vary. If you would like to be added to the email list, please contact us.
